  • September 2003 - Halo-mods.com created by BluD and ToolNIN. (Note: not affiliated at this time with ModHalo, some images missing)[1]
  • December 2003 - ModHalo created by Peter as a Freewebs site.[2]
  • December 2003 - Phil creates a mod showcase, tips, and tricks website for Halo at Freewebs.[3]
  • March 13th 2004 - Phil and Pete combine their websites with a forum and more mods, tips, and tricks to showoff at ModHalo.com.[4]
  • May 2004 - A failed beta design of version two of ModHalo.com. It came a very long way before we shot it down. Created mostly by Pete.[5]
  • June 2004 - The new and much improved ModHalo (v2) homepage.[6]
  • June 2004 - The corresponding forums with a new skin, made by MCMaster (AKA Pyro)[7]
  • October 2004 - ModHalo gets forums hosting from Livewirehost and shuts down their old forums (bad move). (Note: all images and stylesheets missing. Peter's involvement at this point is minimal.) Halo-mods.com, still not affiliated with ModHalo, shuts down about a month prior.[8]
  • May 5th 2005 - Phil and Daz attempt to resurrect Halo-mods.com based off this screenshot. It takes off, but they do encounter several setbacks. (Note: some images missing.)[9]
  • September 2005 - The new Halo-mods.com (basically ModHalo) shuts down due to hosting troubles and multiple DOS attacks.[10]
  • March 17th 2006 - Phil once again decides to get Halo-mods/ModHalo together. After much hard work, he starts it up once again using the original Halo-mods.com 'Hardwired' skin.[11]
  • February 17th 2007 - Phil finally upgrades to IPB 2.2.2 and with it comes a new skin, 'Aqua.'[12]
  • June 10th 2007 - ModHalo v5 skin is publicly released. Phil spent roughly 15 hours working on skinning it.[13]
  • March 6th 2008 - Just one week before the original ModHalo 4th birthday and ten days before the re-launch ModHalo 2nd birthday, Phil releases the ModHalo v6 skin. Completely re-skinned, including the calender, post editor, my assistant, personal profile, and much more.[14]
  • November 27th 2008 - ModHalo gets a fresh banner, courtesy of Sandman.[15]
  • June 3, 2009 - ModHalo officially changes its name to Open Carnage, with a fresh new banner made by Pepsi.[16]
  • September 5, 2009 - Open Carnage gets a fresh new look with the release of IPB 3 and a complementary skin, courtesy of Pepsi, Nessa, and Razer.[17]
  • October 27, 2009 - Open Carnage changes its name to ModHalo, and puts up a new banner to reflect the change.[18]
